When you rent a car at your country or on overseas holidays or for work; a range of fees often accompanies a car
rental.
One optional fee may be for temporary auto or car insurance.
When renting a car you should always make sure the automobile is insured for accidents and damages. If you have
rental car insurance through a personal car insurance plan or credit card program, it may not be necessary to buy
the extra coverage. In that case, best to consult your insurer.
But if you do not have car insurance, you’ll have to purchase temporary coverage from the rental company.
While some auto rental companies include basic automobile liability protection with the car rental agreement, most
offer various forms of the optional coverage.

If you elect to add additional coverage to a car rental, be sure you understand all aspects of the rental car
insurance coverage.
Be Reminded to look into these:
Always check the back of the contract, as it is usually where the conditions and limitations are stated.
Never rent from a firm that refuses to provide the car insurance information or details about its waivers.
Examine the vehicle for dents and scratches before leaving the car rental agency. Note any damage you find on the
contract, and make sure the car rental acknowledges it.
Make sure that the spare tire and tools are in the trunk.
